Amy Benenson, MSPAS, PA-C, is a nationally certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in primary care, urgent care, mental health, and addiction medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Albany and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for Physician Assistants in recognition of her academic excellence and faculty nomination.

Before becoming a PA, Amy served as an EMT lieutenant and vice president of her Emergency Medical Services agency, where she developed a passion for patient advocacy and emergency response. She also holds an Obesity Management Certificate for Physician Assistants, awarded through the American Academy of PAs in collaboration with The Obesity Society.

Amy’s clinical focus includes preventive health, hormone optimization, and weight management, helping patients improve their quality of life through small, sustainable changes. In 2023, she was honored with her organization’s Service Excellence Award the first medical provider to receive the distinction since its inception.
